To register for SPARC General Assembly 2018 and make reservation for accommodation, please click ‘Click for Online Registration & Hotel Reservation’ at the button of this page. Deadline of online registration will be September 3 (GMT+0:00) [9:00am, September 3 - Japan Time, GMT +9:00]. Modification of registration information will be accepted before the registration deadline. Credit card payment will be done at the beginning of September.
Onsite Registration will be available during the conference from 3:00pm on September 30, 2018.

*For those who have registered for SPARC GA can basically participate in all events but for IGAC discount registration fee, you can only participate from Monday to Wednesday.(Oct. 1 to Oct.3, including conference dinner)

Accommodation (operated by Kinki Nippon Tourist)
A block of rooms at neighboring hotels has been secured for the conference attendees. Accommodation can be booked through Online Application. Rooms are limited and are on a first-come first-serve basis.
Rates are only for single occupancy of a twin room (two beds). If you would like to reserve the room as double occupancy, please contact the SPARC2018 Registration Deck at gt_iod01@or.knt.co.jp. The rates at the available for September 30 to October 6, 2018 inclusive, very limited rooms are also available for October 7 and 8 for Kyoto Garden Hotel, Karasuma Kyoto Hotel and Daiwa Roynet Hotel Kyoto-Shijokarasuma.
Nights outside these dates can be requested but cannot necessarily be guaranteed at the same rate.

*Accommodation tax will be imposed in Kyoto starting from October 2018, the room price is subject to change based on the government policies.

Payment
All payments of Online Registration must be made in Japanese Yen (JPY) by credit card.
For registration and accommodation fee, credit card payment will be settled on the beginning of September.
Cash as well as credit card are available at Onsite Registration.

Note)
*Drawer of this online payment transaction will be “Kinki Nippon Tourist Co., Ltd./ KINTETSU INTERNATIONAL”.

Confirmation
After the full payment is confirmed, attendees will receive a confirmation e-mail by the end of September, 2018. Please save this email as proof of your registration.
Change / Cancellation / Refund Policy

Your registration information cannot be changed online after September 3 (GMT+0:00) [9:00am, September 3 - Japan Time, GMT +9:00]. Any change of registration information after September 3 (GMT+0:00) [9:00am, September 3 - Japan Time, GMT +9:00] must be made in email to SPARC2018 Registration Desk (gt_iod01@or.knt.co.jp). For cancellation after submission, it is required to inform SPARC2018 Registration Desk by email.
[Accommodation]
Your reservation cannot be changed or cancelled online after September 3 (GMT+0:00) [9:00am, September 3 - Japan Time, GMT +9:00]. Any change or cancellation of the accommodation booking after September 3 (GMT+0:00) [9:00am, September 3 - Japan Time, GMT +9:00] must be made in email to SPARC2018 Registration Desk (gt_iod01@or.knt.co.jp).

The date and time of the change and cancellation will be based on the working hours [Monday through Friday 9:30am – 5:30pm (Japan time)] except the national holidays (Apr 30, May 3-4, Jul 16, Sep 17 and Sep 24). After working hours, cancellation will be made next working day, which may incur charges.
Assistance of visa application
A visa is required for citizens of countries that do not have visa-exempt agreements with Japan. Please contact the nearest Japanese Embassy or Consulate for visa requirements. Detailed information is available through the Web site of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan http://www.mofa.go.jp/j_info/visit/visa/index.html.

Insurance
Please note that it is the responsibility of all attendees to take out full insurance to cover all expenses, including registration fee, in the event that they are unable to travel for any reason.

For accommodations, agreement is required for below 3 points before making online application:
- Information related to accommodations will be all announced on this website. There will be no brochures or other items (instructions, contracts, etc.) sent through post.
- Kinki Nippon Tourist Co., Ltd. and commissioned companies shall use personal information entered in the application form to contact the applicant, and shall also use the information within the scope necessary for arranging and providing the applied services.
- Purchase of travel services represents your acceptance of "Agent-Organized Tour Terms and Conditions". Please download or print it before applying.
