【Limited-Time Special Experience】
★September 19 – October 24 | Available Wednesdays through Saturdays only
Step away from the rhythm of the city and enter a peaceful Buddhist temple,
where fire, meditation, and Karate come together in a journey of inner cultivation.
This unique experience begins with a Goma Fire Ritual, a centuries-old Buddhist ceremony
in which your written wish is offered to the sacred flames as a symbol of letting go, purification, and new intention.
As the fire burns before you, you will practice Ajikan Meditation, an esoteric Buddhist breathing
and visualization method that has been handed down for generations.
Guided by the rhythm of your breath and the warmth of the flames, you will cultivate clarity, presence, and inner stillness.
The experience then continues with Okinawan Karate, one of Japan's most respected martial traditions.
Under the guidance of Master Funakoshi, head of Yushinkai and a recipient of multiple prestigious awards in Japan, you will first witness a demonstration showcasing the focus, precision, and disciplined movement
cultivated through years of Karate training.
You will then learn the fundamentals of Karate yourself, including basic techniques and kata.
Karate is not merely about striking or defending.
Like many Japanese martial arts, it is a path of self-discipline, respect, and continuous personal growth.
By first observing the master's movements and then experiencing Karate through your own body,
you will discover how a calm and focused mind gives rise to purposeful action.
From the stillness of meditation to the precision of Karate,
this program reveals a timeless Japanese philosophy: true strength begins within.
More than a cultural experience, this is an introduction to Karate-Dō
— the Way of Karate, where body, mind, and spirit move together in harmony.
This experience is available by requesting a reservation. It is not confirmed until we check availability and send a confirmation notice.
