Overview

Step into the world of Kendō and discover a martial art where the ultimate goal is not victory over others, but growth within oneself.
Derived from the traditions of the Samurai, Kendō preserves the spirit of Japanese sword culture while emphasizing respect, discipline, and character development.
In Japan, Kendō is often described not simply as a sport, but as a lifelong path of learning known as "The Way."
Your experience begins by dressing in traditional Kendō attire and learning the etiquette of the dōjō.
Through greetings, posture, and movement, participants discover how respect forms the foundation of all practice.
Under the guidance of an experienced instructor with more than twenty years of training,
you will learn the fundamentals of Kendō, including how to hold the shinai (bamboo sword),
basic striking techniques, and the principles of proper movement and posture. You will then put your skills into practice through interactive matches and training exercises.
More important than winning or losing is the opportunity to experience the spirit of Kendō
—where opponents help one another grow through mutual respect and sincere effort.
Throughout the experience, participants are introduced to three core principles of Kendō:
・Unity of Mind, Spirit, and Action
・Respect and Etiquette
・Lifelong Learning Through
The sound of bamboo swords meeting, the focused silence of the dōjō, and the energy of training together create an atmosphere unlike any other.
More than a martial arts experience, this is an introduction to Kendō
— the Way of the Sword, where discipline becomes character, respect becomes strength, and practice becomes a path of lifelong growth.
Experience Kendō in Okinawa, where the values of respect, resilience, and harmony have been cultivated through centuries of island culture and martial traditions.
