Overview

This experience is not about creating a perfect hairstyle.
It is about discovering how simple acts of preparation can bring elegance into everyday life.
Set in a 280-year-old townhouse in Iwamura Castle Town, you will learn directly from a practitioner who continues to wear kimono and style her hair in a traditional manner as part of her daily life.
Her approach reimagines Traditional Japanese Hairstyling not as something reserved for special occasions, but as a gentle, repeatable practice for everyday living.
Using only five elastics and two pins—without sprays or artificial tools—you will learn how to style your own hair with ease and lightness.
Rather than being styled by others, you will learn to prepare yourself—
transforming hairstyling into a mindful and sustainable practice.
Through this experience, you will discover:
・How simplicity creates sustainable beauty
・How preparation influences posture and awareness
・How appearance can naturally open human connection
This is not about decoration.
It is about cultivating elegance as part of your everyday presence.
