Accommodation Guide

The LOC is pleased to offer you a range of accommodation options.
The accommodation options range from 2 star to 4 star and all provide services and facilities including complimentary Wi-Fi, comfortable bedrooms and “athlete friendly” buffet meals. Hotels will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Our accommodation services provider, Kinki Nippon Tourist group (abbreviated as KNT hereunder), will provide an extensive reservations service including personalised management of all bookings and on-site representation during the event. KNT will also manage all rooming lists and meal requirements to ensure that each team benefits from the very best possible experience.

Accommodation Overview

Accommodation Period

Accommodation will be available from the official arrival day (check in available from Sunday 12th May) until the official departure day (check out necessary by Sunday 26th May).

Meal Package

All meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) are served buffet style at each official team hotel.

Transport

LOC provides the following transport services to NPCs.

Airport transfer
Service period Sun 12 May – Sun 26 May
Official airport (Kansai International airport and Kobe airport) ⇔ Official team hotels
*Additional charges will apply for transfers outside official airport (KIX/UKB) / arrival and departure dates (12 May – 26 May).

Championships Venue transfer
Service period Mon 13 May – Sat 25 May
Kobe Universiade Memorial Stadium ⇔ Official Team Hotels

Training Venue transfer *Only ambulant track
Service period Mon 13 May – Sat 25 May
Shiawase-no-Mura ⇔ Official Team Hotels or Kobe Universiade Memorial Stadium

Transportation will be provided by LOC during the official training and championships period from Monday 13th May to Saturday 25th May. Further details regarding the shuttle service will be announced in due course.
*Please note that shuttle services are subject to road conditions, and all listed travel times are thus estimated figures.

Booking Process and Payment Steps

NOTE

• Bookings will only be accepted by the responsible NPC.
• Only one invoice will be created per NPC.
• Payment is accepted in Japanese Yen by bank transfer or credit card.
• The payment details will be located on the invoice the NPCs will receive after the booking has been confirmed.
• Bank transfer and credit card fees are the responsibility of the NPCs.
• No cash payments on arrival will be accepted.
• Friday 15th March is the final closing date for the booking process of all accommodation. The LOC cannot guarantee any availability at the official team hotels and the rates quoted in this document after this date.

Competition Fees （WPA） and Accommodation Fees （LOC）
The Competition Fee is 800 EUR per team member and is to be paid to World Para Athletics in accordance with the invoice that can be generated from the online system (SDMS) based on the confirmed team delegation size.

Room Type

The description of the room types is as follows.

Single or Double room

A single room or double room is a standard guest room with single or double occupancy. The room is furnished with a single, queen or king size bed.

Twin room

A twin room is a standard guest room with twin occupancy. The room is furnished with two separate single beds.

Triple room

A triple room is a standard guest room with triple occupancy. The room is furnished with three separate single beds.

Adaptable room and Accessible room

Rooms provided will have ample space in order to meet the following conditions as adaptable/accessible rooms.
An adaptable room is a regular room but relatively easy to use for wheelchair users, with bathroom doors that are at least 60cm wide and with no steps and sufficient moving space in the bathroom and guest room.
An accessible room is specifically made for people with disabilities.

Japanese style room (Can only be selected in Shiawase-no-Mura)

Japanese-style rooms have tatami flooring, shoji screens, and a two-tiered closet for storing futons.
You need to take off your shoes in the room and you can sleep on a “futon”, It is a Japanese quilted mattress rolled out on the floor for use as a bed. Hotel staff will lay out the futon for you before bedtime.

As the number of rooms is limited, accommodation will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
