The ICCC has been held 7 times since 2010, in the UK, France, New Zealand, China. It has been recognised as a medium-sized biennial international conference to exchange the latest information about the cutting-edge research results on the cold chain and sustainability. To establish a truly sustainable cold chain, it is necessary to activate discussion on global food supply chain to achieve energy conservation, GHG reduction, elimination of food loss and waste, guarantee of food safety and quality.
ICCC 2024 in Tokyo will be a good opportunity to bring together experts, researchers, and industrialists from all fields of refrigeration to discuss how to promote sustainability on the cold chain.
